Vertical Minnow Blade Bait - Shad

The Vertical Minnow Blade Bait lands upright on the bottom instead of falling flat. This keeps the hooks facing up when fish trap it on the bottom. We designed the body, and it was the first stand up blade bait ever built.

Fish it vertical. Lift it off the bottom, let it fall on a controlled drop, and stay in contact the whole way down. At 3/4 oz it holds under the boat when there's current to fight. It's a cold water staple that gets fished year round in the Pacific Northwest.

Shad matches the primary forage on most reservoir and river systems. Clear to lightly stained water through the summer and fall.
